Therefore, using digital aerial images are proposed. The main objective of this research is evaluating capability of such images for estimating trees height. Materials and methods: This research was done based on nine UltraCam-D aerial images with 70% end lap overlay and 60% side lap, 7 cm pixel size and scale of 1:8000 in Tehran. The four spectral visible and near infrared bands were fused with the panchromatic band. The images were geometrically corrected using triangulation method and then digital elevation model (DEM) and digital surface model (DSM) were produced using LPS and INPHO software respectively. To estimate the accuracy of DEM, the elevation of 15 points from the 1:1000 topographic map of Tehran were extracted and compared with the DEM elevation values at the same points. After that, calculating 101 trees height, were performed by subtracting values of DSM and DEM for each tree. To check the precision of calculated height, heights of these trees were measured by Sonto in the field and were compared with the estimated height. The trees include various species of Conifers and Deciduous. Comparison of estimated heights (calculated) with ground values (measured heights) was performed using simple linear regression and Coefficient of determination (R2) and root-mean-square error (RMSE). Normalized mean error (NMPE) statistics were also used to evaluate the error rate of DSMs and also the pairwise T-test was used to compare height differences in two groups of broad-leaved and needle-leaved trees.Results: Due to the RMSE value based on the five control points (0.22 pixels), and the exact correspondence of the corrected images with the topographic map, the reliability of the geometric correction was obtained with acceptable accuracy. The low density of forest cover in the studied area allowed the ground to be seen in the images. This point made it possible to select the right control points and the number of node points. Achieved results, high linear correlation between actual height value and calculated height (R2 = 82%), RMSE (1.35 m) and average difference between calculated and actual height (1.13 m) indicate that estimated height based, has acceptable accuracy. In addition, no significant difference was observed between precision of estimating Conifers and Deciduous height.Conclusion: Based on the results, this approach could be used operationally to determine height of the trees in relatively flat areas such as urban forest and flat Zagros forest but its capability should be investigated at mountainous areas, high density and high-slope forests.}, keywords = {Digital Elevation Model (DEM),Digital Surface Model (DSM),Tree height,UltraCam-D}, title_fa = {بررسی صحت برآورد ارتفاع درختان با استفاده از تصاویر دوربین هوایی رقومی UltraCam (مطالعه موردی: پارک طالقانی تهران)}, abstract_fa = {سابقه و هدف: اندازه‌گیری ارتفاع درختان به روش‌های میدانی در سطوح وسیع، زمان و هزینه فراوانی را می‌طلبد، از این‌رو استفاده از تصاویر هوایی رقومی زوج به‌عنوان روشی جایگزین مطرح شده است. هدف اصلی این تحقیق بررسی قابلیت این تصاویر در برآورد ارتفاع درختان است. مواد و روش‌ها: این پژوهش با استفاده از نه تصویر دوربین هوایی رقومی UltraCam-D با پوشش‌های مشترک 70% طولی و 60% عرضی، مقیاس اسمی 1:8000 و اندازه تفکیک زمینی هفت سانتی‌متر در پارک جنگلی طالقانی شهر تهران انجام شد. تصاویر ابتدا به‌روش مثلث‌بندی تصحیح هندسی و سپس مدل‌های رقومی ارتفاع (DEM) و سطح (DSM) به‌ترتیب در نرم‌افزارهای LPS و INPHO، تهیه و از تفاضل دو مدل یاد شده، ارتفاع درختان محاسبه گردید. برای براورد دقت DEM، مقادیر ارتفاعی 15 نقطه از نقشه 1:1000 شهر تهران استخراج و با مقادیر ارتفاعی DEM در محل همان نقاط مقایسه شد. برای بررسی صحت مقادیر ارتفاعی محاسبه شده، ارتفاع 101 درخت از گونه‌های مختلف پهن‌برگ و سوزنی‌برگ در عرصه اندازه‌گیری و با مقادیر ارتفاع برآوردی از DSM همان درختان مقایسه شد. مقایسه مقادیر ارتفاع برآوردی (محاسبه شده) با مقادیر واقعیت زمینی (ارتفاع‌های اندازه‌گیری شده) با استفاده از رگرسیون خطی ساده و آماره‌های ضریب تبیین (R^2) و مجذور میانگین مربعات خطا (RMSE) انجام شد. همچنین از آماره درصد خطای میانگین نرمال شده (NMPE) برای ارزیابی درصد خطای DSMهای تولید شده و از آزمون T جفتی نیز برای مقایسه اختلاف ارتفاع ها به تفکیک در دو گروه پهن‌برگان و سوزنی‌برگان استفاده شد.یافته‌ها: با توجه به مقدار RMSE بر اساس پنج نقطه‌ی شاهد (22/0 پیکسل)، و همخوانی دقیق تصاویر تصحیح شده با نقشه توپوگرافی، اطمینان لازم در مورد انجام تصحیح هندسی با دقت قابل قبول کسب شد. تراکم نه‌چندان زیاد پوشش جنگلی منطقه مورد مطالعه، امکان رویت سطح زمین در تصاویر را فراهم کرده بود. این نکته امکان انتخاب نقاط کنترل مناسب و تعداد زیادی نقاط گرهی را میسر نموده بود. همبستگی خطی زیاد بین ارتفاع محاسبه شده و ارتفاع واقعی درختان (82%=R^2 و 35/1RMSE=) و همچنین اختلاف به ‌نسبت اندک و غیر معنی‌دار بین این ارتفاع‌ها (13/1 متر) بیانگر این است که برآورد ارتفاع با رویکرد مورد استفاده، از صحت قابل قبولی برخوردار می-باشد. ضمنا تفاوت محسوسی بین صحت برآورد ارتفاع سوزنی‌برگان و پهن‌برگان مشاهده نشد. نتیجه گیری: بر پایه‌ی نتایج این تحقیق، از این تصاویر می‌توان در این چنین مناطق نسبتاً مسطحی مانند جنگل‌های شهری و جنگل‌های مسطح غرب برای تعیین ارتفاع درختان به‌طور اجرایی استفاده کرد ولی قابلیت این تصاویر در جنگل‌های}, keywords_fa = {ارتفاع درخت,مدل رقومی ارتفاع (DEM),مدل رقومی سطح (DSM),UltraCam-D}, url = {https://jwfst.gau.ac.ir/article_4812.html}, eprint = {https://jwfst.gau.ac.ir/article_4812_fb1d93d43bc0e54a5fe7bf35cc56f1c3.pdf} }
