These foams are applicable in food and packaging industries. Growing environmental concerns have created a need to develop biodegradable materials. Starch is a widely available, renewable, low cost, biodegradable and thermoplast (TPS). For these reason starch generates a great interest at it is considered as promising alternative to synthetic polymers (as polystyrene). But poor mechanical properties is a limited parameter to use this polymer. One of the important ways to reduce this limitation, is improvement of the thermal and mechanical properties using of nanofiber cellulose as reinforcement of foam. But NFC gel is aqueous and it forms irreversible aggregates when dried. High moisture create big cells in foaming and effect on foam properties. This subject limite using of NFC (nanofiber cellulose) to prepare polymeric composites. The aim of current research is using NFC (nanofibercellulose) to prepare NFC/TPS nanobiocomposite foam by extrusion mixing for better dispersion of NFC in matrix polymer and investigation on thermal and mechanical properties of foam. Materials and Methods: Granules powder of corn starch, glycerol, NFC gel, and azodicarbonamide have been used to make NFC-TPS nanobiocomposite foam. Glycerol (30, wt %) as plastisizer. NFC (0.5, 1, 1.5, wt %) as reinforcing agent and azodicarbonamide (0.2, wt %) as blowing agent (BA) were used. Raw materials were mixed in a co-rotating two screw extruder. Then TPS/NFC/ BA granules was prepared. Then by using of these granules, nanobiocomposites foams were prepared under hot press (temperature higher than degradation temp of BA). The morphology of the samples studied by FE-SEM. The tests thermogravimetry (TGA), differential scanning calorymetry (DSC), dynamic-mechanical- thermal analysis (DMTA) were done on TPS/NFC nanobiocomposite foams for determination of the thermal and mechanical properties. Findings: FE-SEM images showed, that TPS/ NFC nanobiocomposite foam has higher and smaller pores in comparison TPS foam. This is due to nucleation effect of NFC. TGA showed thermal stability of TPS/NFC nanobiocomposite foam with increasing of NFC. DSC showed transition glass temperature has been increased with increasing of NFC content. The DMTA showed storage modulus and loss modulus increased with increasing of NFC conten but tan delta decreased. The reason of this result is formation microcellular foam and reinforcment of the cell wall of foam by NFC. Conclusion: the results of research showed NFC improved thermal and mechanical properties of TPS/NFC foam. TPS/NFC foam had more unique and smaller in comparison of TPS foam.}, keywords = {“Nanobiocomposite”,“Foam”,“Thermoplastic starch (TPS)”,“Nanofibercellulose (NFC)”,“Mechanical and Thermal Propertise”}, title_fa = {فوم نانوبیوکامپوزیت نشاسته ترموپلاستیک/نانوالیاف سلولز: بررسی خصوصیات مکانیکی و گرمایی}, abstract_fa = {چکیده سابقه و هدف : در سال‌های اخیر حجم تولید فوم‌های پلی استایرن بسیار زیاد شده است.بیشتر این فوم‌ها در صنایع غذایی و بسته‌بندی استفاده می‌شوند. افزایش نگرانی‌های زیست‌محیطی نیاز به توسعه مواد زیست تخریب پذیر را ایجاد کرده است. نشاسته زیست پلیمری قابل دسترس، قابل تجدید، ارزان و زیست‌تخریب پذیر و قابل ترموپلاست شدن است. این عوامل دلایل علاقه‌مندی زیاد به استفاده از نشاسته به عنوان جایگزین پلیمرهای سنتزی (مثل پلی استایرن) می‌باشد. اما فوم نشاسته دارای خصوصیات گرمایی و مکانیکی ضعیفی است. یکی از راه‌های مهم بهبود خواص فوم نشاسته استفاده از نانوالیاف سلولز به‌عنوان تقویت‌کننده در ساختار فوم است. چالش اصلی برسر راه فوم کردن نشاسته تقویت شده با نانوالیاف سلولز، وجود آب فراوان در ژل NFC (nanofibrillated cellulose)است. این میزان آب سبب ایجاد حفرات درشت در هنگام تشکیل فوم می‌شود که خصوصیات فوم را به شدت تحت تاثیر قرار می‌دهد. در این مطالعه نانوالیاف سلولز در اکسترودر با نشاسته ترموپلاستیک( TPS ، Thermoplastic starch) مخلوط می‌شود تا پخش مناسبی از NFC در ماده زمینه پلیمری به‌دست آید. سپس فوم TPS/NFC تشکیل‌شده و اثر NFC بر خواص گرمایی و مکانیکی فوم حاصل بررسی می‌گردد. مواد وروش‌ها :. به‌منظور ساخت نانوبیوکامپوزیت نشاسته ترموپلاستیک/ نانو الیاف سلولز گرانول نشاسته ذرت به صورت پودر، گلیسرول و ژل NFC و آزودی کربنامید تهیه‌شد. گلیسرول به میزان 30 درصد وزنی به عنوان ماده نرم‌کننده برای تولید TPS استفاده شد. نانو الیاف سلولز به میزان 5/0 ، 1 و 5/1 درصد وزنی برای تقویت نشاسته استفاده شد. پودر آزودی کربنامید به عنوان عامل فوم‌زا به میزان 2/0 درصد وزنی مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. مواد مورد نیاز برای هر تیمار در یک اکسترودر دو ماردونه همسو گرد مخلوط شدند وگرانول‌هایNFC TPS/ دارای ماده فوم‌زا تهیه شدند. در مرحله بعد گرانول‌های به دست آمده از اکسترودر به پرس گرم با دمایی بالاتر از دمای عملکرد ماده فوم‌زا منتقل شدند و فوم نانوبیوکامپوزیت TPS/NFC ساخته شد. به‌منظور بررسی ساختار مورفولوژیکی نمونه‌ها عکس‌های FE-SEM تهیه شد. آزمون‌های گرما وزن‌سنجی(TGA), کالری متری پویش تفاضلی(DSC) و آنالیز دینامیکی – مکانیکی – گرمایی(DMTA) برای بررسی خصوصیات گرمایی و مکانیکی نمونه‌ها انجام شد. یافته ها : عکس‌های FE-SEM نشان داد فوم نانوبیوکامپوزیت TPS/NFC حفرات بیشتر و کوچک‌تری در مقایسه با فوم TPS دارد و این موضوع به علت اثر هسته‌زایی NFC است. نتایج TGA نشان داد با افزایش NFC ثبات گرمایی نانوبیوکامپوزیت‌های فوم TPS/NFC بیشتر شد نتایج DSC نشان داد با افزایش NFC دمای انتقال شیشه‌ای نمونه‌ها افزایش یافت. نتایج DMTA نشان داد مدول ذخیره نمونه‌ها بعد از اضافه کردن NFC افزایش یافت. دلیل این امر ایجاد فوم میکروسلولی و نیز تقویت دیواره سلولی فوم توسط نانوالیاف سلولز می‌باشد. همچنین نتایج نشان داد مدول اتلاف و فاکتور اتلاف با افزایش NFC افزایش یافت. نتیجه گیری: نتایج تحقیق نشان دادNFC خواص گرمایی و مکانیکی فوم TPS/NFC را بهبود داد. اضافه کردن NFC به TPS سبب می‌شود در هنگام فوم شدن سلول‌های کوچک‌تر و همگن‌تری تولید شود.}, keywords_fa = {"نانوبیوکامپوزیت","فوم","نشاسته ترموپلاستیک","نانو الیاف سلولز","خواص مکانیکی و گرمایی"}, url = {https://jwfst.gau.ac.ir/article_4093.html}, eprint = {https://jwfst.gau.ac.ir/article_4093_4384b57870b2e8e7632b59821446107f.pdf} }
